Suspend Work – “Remain on Standby” – 3 Key Words

August 11, 2020

About this Event When an owner issues a suspension of work directive, is the contractor entitled to recover delay and delay damages? This session will examine what damages are typically owed when work is suspended and some limitations of suspension damages. The discussion will include five court cases setting forth key requirements necessary to collect damages and provide recommendations for actions contractors should take that may help owners resolve such claims in the field—rather than the courtroom—when work is suspended.
